I joined JLRRA June 88(Borgard Troop) and went on from there to
30 Battery, 16 Regt. After a few years in Kirton, broken up by a tour
to Armagh and Cyprus, I went on to Dortmund. Although remaining in 30,
I was attached to 11 Bty for a tour to Belfast in 93. When 16 Regt returned
to Woolwich, I remained in Germany, where I still live. Anyone who knows

Dave Young is trying to locate the war diaries of the 3rd Anti-Tank
Regiment, Royal Artillery. His uncle, 1115515 Gunner Archibald McKenzie
Young, was killed on the 1st of November 1942, in Egypt, while serving
with 3rd Anti-Tank Regiment. This may have been the 3rd Royal Horse
Artillery but he cannot confirm this. Any help or advice would be appreciated. |
