in August 1950 to serve in the Korean War with 170 Independent Mortat
Battery. Discharged to the Reserve in 1952. Sgt V.Mech.

My great grand father was in the British Royal Artillery in WW1 where he
lost his life and I am looking for info on him and his regiment. He was
Gunner Bertie Pinch "D" Bty, 170th. Bde. Royal Field Artillery
- he was killed in the Battle of Arass in France on May 2nd. 1917.

we where in the 57 Haa Regt RA Orsett Camp Grays Essex in the MT Section
Since I came out I been trying to contact them until this year I found
one living in Canada round about march he since been over and we have
had a reunion The other one I found last week I am just looking for
one more a Jack Smith LKA Worksop Nottinghamshire.
